Sure, the weather’s been a little a little nasty in Utah and Idaho the last few weeks - but as soon as the nice weather peeks out through the clouds, it’ll be prime time for visiting our great National Parks. Just this last weekend I went on a hike with my Father in the Alaska Basin near the Teton Mountain range in the corner of Idaho/Wyoming, and had a wonderful time enjoying the peaceful, relaxing nature our Heavenly Father created for us all.
For three weekends this summer, every National Park across the U.S. will have free admission, saving you up to $25 in fees! The special fee-free weekends are June 20-21 (Father’s Day Weekend), July 18-19, and August 15-16.
The majority of National Parks don’t charge for entrance anyway, bet here’s a list of the 100 Parks by State that are participating in the fee-free weekend.
What parks have you visited this summer - or are planning on visiting soon?

We went to Yellowstone on Free National Park Day last month - What a great vacation it turned out to be - Where ever the kids wanted to go we went that direction. The wildlife was everywhere and we saw moose, bison, elk, deer, antelope, and everything in between - except the elusive bear! Hopefully we can do it again this month - and next year we already have trips planned to Dinosaurland and Mesa Verde! Great program - Thanks for letting us all know about it!
