Soda, pop, slurpage - whatever you want to call it . . . There’s nothing innately wrong with drinking soda - I’m a big Cherry 7-Up fan myself . . . but cutting soda out of your daily routine might help both to improve your health and to save you money.

Saving Money by Ceasing to Drink Soda
A few years back I found a great way to save $260 in one year - stop drinking my daily 7-Up. Do the math - let’s say you buy a soda from a vending machine 5 times a week for $1 each time (if you can find a vending machine that sells pop for only a buck . . .good luck!) $5 a week for 52 weeks . . .You’ve saved $260!

Improve Your Health by Ceasing to Drink Soda
Not yet convinced about saving money bu cutting the soda? Soda drinks are packed with sugars and calories, have next to zero nutritious value, and has been linked to weight gain.

Save $260 and control weight gain? Sounds good to me!

Doctrine & Covenants 88:124 “Cease to be idle; cease to be unclean; cease to find fault one with another; cease to sleep longer than is needful; retire to thy bed early, that ye may not be weary; arise early, that your bodies and your minds may be invigorated.”

What other ways can you save money and improve your health?

Wow - I don’t drink that much pop, but I’m sure I could afford to cut down a little. Good idea
